more specifically, when i was in those amazing turquoise waters with the warm sun sparkling through the tiny droplets on my skin. overhead a beautiful azure sky was dotted with puffy white clouds which drifted lazily by in the cool breeze. underneath me, the sand was smooth and soft, scrunching as i walked deeper into the gently lapping water and teeny tiny little fish darted around my legs. when it got too deep i drifted onto my back, eyes closed, fingers trailing through the water, toes just peeking out. i lay in the water for hours and slowly began to feel the ties that bind us to the outside world ebb away until there was nothing but the essence of me connected to the sea, sun and sky, left. finally i was, as TS Elliot said,
